Google runs an incredible initiative in which a competition is available for indie companies from South America, Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. They apply to be flown to the google offices in Singapore to receive one week intensive mentorship from 30 industry experts and googlers.
Out of 1700+ applications, 30 companies were selected. 2 of which were from Jordan and 1 from Egypt (the only African rep). I spent an amazing week in Singapore mentoring amazing companies on getting their game to the next level as well as hang out with the industry’s finest. All with the backdrop of the beautiful city of Singapore.
Very inspired by the event, the organization and the spirit of everyone there. It’s been a highlight of the year for me.
