One of the first things I did when I arrived to Berlin is to get in touch with the schools for games in the city, and since we had a bunch of graduates of the Games Academy already working in our studio I was put in touch with them fairly early on to which I signed up to speak to the students during their developers days in November.
I reworked a previous presentation I had about applied game design to discuss what goes through the minds of game designers and what to expect when that is translated to actual workplace experiences.
It’s always inspirational to talk to aspiring game developers and discuss what their views on game design is and tell them a bit about my journey and experience so far. I had a blast as usual, and I’m looking forward to working with any of those guys in the future.
