I had the pleasure of visiting Graz University in Austria to give a lecture on creativity and game development.
It was such an energizing experience speaking with students and fellow creatives about the ideas behind my book “Demystifying Creativity: On Originality in Game Development.” We talked about where great ideas come from, how to build truly creative teams, and what it takes to craft experiences that stay with players long after they put the controller down.
The curiosity and passion in the room were contagious — it’s always inspiring to see the next generation of game makers eager to push boundaries and challenge the familiar.
