In the early summer of 2024, I had the privilege of attending DevGAMM in Vilnius, Lithuania, a bright city pulsating with creativity and innovation in the gaming industry. This international conference brought together a diverse community of game developers, designers, and industry professionals, all eager to share their insights and experiences.
Among the discussions and presentations, my own focused on the intriguing interplay between cultural nuances and leadership styles within gaming. Centered around the Japanese concept of “Kuuki wo Yomu,” which translates to reading the air, I explained its profound impact on gaming cultures worldwide.
The atmosphere at DevGAMM was vibrant, filled with lively conversations and passionate exchanges. It was a truly enriching experience to witness firsthand the dedication and enthusiasm that permeated every session and conversation at the conference.
